GMC car key fob replacement

GMC Key Fob Replacement

GMC builds the work-ready, dressed-up side of GM's trucks and SUVs, and a key shouldn't cost you a lost weekend. We carry OEM-quality fobs, smart keys, and remotes for the Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, Terrain, Canyon, and the loaded Denali trims, for a fraction of the $260 to $510 a dealer charges. Denali fobs add remote start and a liftgate button, so match the layout on your current key. Run your year and model through the search up top, or match the FCC ID below.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do your Denali keys include remote start and the extra buttons?

Yes. Denali fobs typically carry remote start and a power-liftgate button on top of lock, unlock, and panic. Count the buttons on your current key and match the listing so you keep every function.

Is a GMC Sierra key the same as a Chevy Silverado key?

They're built on the same GM platform and the keys are close, but the FCC ID and exact fob still have to match your specific GMC. Go by the numbers on your key rather than assuming a Silverado key will fit.

How much is a GMC key at the dealer?

Usually $260 to $510 programmed, with Denali smart keys at the top. Ours come in well under that.

Can I program a GMC key myself?

Some older GMC transponder and remote keys can be added on-board if you have a working key; the push-button proximity systems need a locksmith or dealer tool. Our key programming page lays out your model's path.

Do you still carry keys for the Envoy and older Jimmy?

We do, along with the current Sierra, Yukon, and Acadia. The older SUVs use a transponder key and separate remote, so match your year and FCC ID.
