Pontiac Key Fob Replacement

Pontiac was GM's excitement division, and its fans still drive everything from G6s to GTOs and Firebirds. We supply OEM-quality keys and remotes for the G5, G6, G8, Grand Prix, Firebird, Vibe, and more, for a fraction of the $190 to $385 dealers charge. The Vibe, built with the Toyota Matrix, uses Toyota's key, so match your FCC ID carefully. Run your year and model through the search up top, or match the number on your current key.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Pontiac Vibe key really a Toyota key?

Effectively, yes. The Vibe was built with the Toyota Matrix and shares Toyota's key system, so its key differs from the rest of the Pontiac lineup. Match the FCC ID on your Vibe key to be sure.

Can I still get a key for my Pontiac?

Yes. Pontiac used GM's key systems (and Toyota's, for the Vibe), all still supported. Keys for the G6, Grand Prix, G8, and others are available; send your year and model to confirm.

What's the VATS system on my older Pontiac?

VATS is GM's older anti-theft setup with a resistor pellet in the key blade. The car reads the value to start, so the exact pellet has to match. Many 1990s and early 2000s Pontiacs use it.

How much is a Pontiac key?

Usually $190 to $385 with cutting and programming, even though dealers seldom stock them. Ours are below that.

Do you have keys for the G8 and GTO?

We do, along with the G6, Grand Prix, and others. These enthusiast models use a transponder or remote-head key, so match your year and FCC ID.
