Add a FOBIK yourself — the two-key method
With two working FOBIKs, Chrysler’s onboard relearn adds another in about a minute, no tools. (Only one FOBIK, or none? That’s an automotive locksmith with the PIN.)
- Insert working FOBIK #1 into the ignition slot and turn to ON (run); after ~3 seconds turn OFF and remove.
- Within 15 seconds insert working FOBIK #2, turn to ON, wait ~3 seconds — a chime/security light confirms programming mode.
- Within 30 seconds insert the new FOBIK and turn to ON — the chime confirms it’s learned. Turn OFF and test.
