Saturn Key Programming
Most Saturns use GM’s onboard system, so the transponder key and keyless remote program yourself with no tools — instant with a working key, or a ~30-minute relearn if you’ve lost them all. (The Astra and the 2008+ Vue are the exceptions — built on GM’s global platform, they need a locksmith.) Find your model below.

Program it yourself
GM’s onboard relearn — no tools, no dealer.
- Have a working key? Insert it, turn to ON ~5 seconds, OFF and remove. Within 10 seconds insert the new key and turn to ON — the security light goes out and it’s learned.
- All keys lost (~30 min): insert the new key, turn to ON. Wait 10 minutes for the security light to turn off; cycle OFF/ON. Repeat for three 10-minute cycles, then OFF — programmed.
- Remote buttons: with all doors closed, hold LOCK and UNLOCK together until the locks cycle, then test. Message us your year for the exact remote sequence.
Exact timing varies by year — message us your vehicle and we’ll send the precise sequence.
